I’m honoured to be a speaker at the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF’s) 2021 Visual Media Conference (VMC) – a 3-day virtual conference jam-packed with a hybrid programme of live-streamed and pre-recorded sessions on the theme of Sustainability through Innovation.

Taking place between 21st and 23rd September 2021 the FREE Visual Media Conference promises to dive into trends, technology, and innovation affecting both the print and digital industries.

My Lifting the Lid off LinkedIn session will be taking place at 12pm on Thurs 23rd Sept. I’d love to have you along!

Where Will the Journey Through VMC Take You?

  • Explore the arguments for why and how to innovate and stay sustainable and what this could mean for your business as well as the environment.
  • Learn about the origins of communication, through to the current solutions you need for business and environmental sustainability.
  • Delve into how to be sustainable as a business while continuing to be at the forefront of the creative world by enjoying demonstrations of technology that is yet to be adopted.
  • Benefit from an abundance of insightful speakers as Frank Romano, RIT Professor Emeritus and President of the Museum Printing, Massachusetts kicks things off with his session ‘how did we get here?’ discussing the evolution of communication in print.

Conveniently the conference will provide you with a ‘TV Guide’ of content from international keynote speakers. so you won’t miss a panel discussion, Q&A or webinar! The content will be available at fixed times, but will also helpfully be recorded and shared online to view at leisure.

Topics Covered:

  • Day 1 addresses ‘what is sustainability?’
  • Day 2 focuses on the evolution of tech for sustainability and how the creative industry has innovated
  • Day 3 follows the theme of sustainability through innovation – with a particular concentration on the environmental aspect

Now in its 8th year, the VMC is organised annually by CDI (Creative Digital Industries), a BPIF (British Printing Industries Federation) Special Interest Group together with BOSS and Founding Partners, Precision Proco and Creative Race.

I’m proud that Value Exchange gets to be partners and what will most definitely be an exciting and engaging event! I hope to see you there!
