FREE: How to Power Up Your Profile for LinkedIn Job Search

As I learned in a recent post on LinkedIn, and as we have heard of so widely in the news, a number of well-established brands have ceased trading. Thomas Cook and Total PolyFilm come to mind.

Whilst feeling very sad for the people and families affected, I wanted to do more than stand by and do nothing.

I am aware that many people, whilst having a LinkedIn profile, do not, on the whole, make the most from it.

It seemed to me like it would be a good idea to offer those people affected a simple means to get their LinkedIn profile licked into shape.

I contacted Sam Gordon at Leeds Beckett’s Well Met conferencing facility to see if they would provide me with the space to hold a special free training session for those affected. She immediately responded ‘yes’!

So here we are, the plan is in place.

I am holding a 2-hour LinkedIn training session for people who are in this difficult position.

Monday 7th October at 10.00am to 12.00pm.

The session is intended to help people maximise their LinkedIn profile to help them be attractive to a new employer, showcase their skills and achievements, and search for companies who might be prospect employees for their skills and experiences.

Location:

Cloth Hall Court, Quebec Street, Leeds, LS1 2HA
(A one-minute walk from Leeds City Station)

There is plenty of nearby parking but it can be expensive so please plan ahead. Click here for more information on Leeds City Centre parking options.

I look forward to meeting you.

Nigel Cliffe

The doors will be open from 9.30am and the session will start promptly at 10.00am, finishing at 12.00pm.

Places will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
