Why Investing in My LinkedIn Workshop is the Right Choice

LinkedIn Workshop, Nigel Cliffe, LinkedIn Courses, Value Exchange A new year doesn’t have to mean a new you; perhaps you liked the 2018 you! However, a new year is a natural time to reflect on what you could have done better or more of during the previous year and what positive changes you could make for the year ahead.

Professionally, being more active and engaged on LinkedIn is a great step to take this year if you wish to boost your brand, business and confidence. Why? Because LinkedIn is THE business-to-business platform to showcase your knowledge and experience and network. Fundamentally, businesses are run by people for people and LinkedIn is brilliant channel for connecting those people. At the heart of it, building and nurturing relationships through adding value is what LinkedIn is all about.

Start building your relationships and reputation on LinkedIn by sharing industry insights, your case studies and success stories and you’ll get noticed. With people four times more likely to buy when referred by a friend and the Lifetime Value for a new referral customer being 16% higher than their non-referral counterparts, getting noticed and recommended should be every professional’s goal.

Convinced that LinkedIn is an area you need to focus on this year but not sure where to begin? That’s where my LinkedIn Bootcamp workshops come in!

Why are my LinkedIn Workshops worth attending?

Now I know I’m a little biased, but here are 6 reasons to sign up to my LinkedIn Workshop this year:

1) Like Minded People

Everyone who attend my workshops do so for the same reason – they’re looking to receive more inbound leads, get found online and generate more business opportunities. They wish to learn and put their newfound knowledge into practice…just like you!

2) Perfect for Beginners

The sessions are ideal for beginners, those of you who may have a LinkedIn Profile but never login to or don’t know what to do with it, or who may have set up a Profile a long time ago but never finished completing it. Professionals in business development roles, directors, managers or people in positions where LinkedIn can support personal job role responsibilities and goals will benefit from these courses.

If you consider yourself an active user of LinkedIn and understand how it works but wish to take your LinkedIn activity to the next level, perhaps my more advanced LinkedIn Masterclasses, available upon request, would be more suitable?

3) A Personal Experience

Although you will be learning alongside people similar to yourself, I will review your LinkedIn Profile in advance of the LinkedIn workshop to truly tailor the advice I provide you with.

4) I Facilitate Not Dictate

Rather than simply churning out a list of tips and tricks, the morning part of the workshop focuses on why you should leverage LinkedIn and what is possible on the platform. For instance, many people are simply unaware of how to utilise Advanced Search, make the most of LinkedIn Insights and harness LinkedIn for competitor monitoring.

During the latter part of the course we switch to exploring real case-studies that illustrate LinkedIn do’s and don’ts and discuss how to ‘fix’ and address issues as we go. I like to think I enable you to get the best out of LinkedIn, the meaning of which, is of course unique to you.

5) Master Actionable Skills

This isn’t a theory-based workshop. I encourage you to bring your laptops along with you (though not completely essential) so you can follow along with what I’m saying, locate features on LinkedIn as I explain them and put what I advise into practice then and there.

You’re proud of your profile but aren’t sure how to approach sending Connection requests or leaving comments. You regularly scroll silently on LinkedIn but aren’t sure where to start when it comes to creating your own content. If these scenarios sound like your current LinkedIn situation then don’t worry, we cover the following in these courses and much more:

LinkedIn Bootcamp, LinkedIn Workshop, LinkedIn Course, Learning Outcomes

6) Interactive and Informal

I’m a huge advocate for attendee participation and enjoy sessions in which the audience asks questions, however big or small. Who knows what ideas you’ll pick up, inspiration you’ll get and things you’ll learn by listening and chatting to others?
